About Mr. Markee
Louis J. Markee was born and raised in Hawaii, and attended law school at the University of Santa Clara Law School in California. He has practiced law for over 30 years. He is admitted to practice in all the courts in the State of Hawaii, and Federal District Court. He has appeared in Family Court hundreds of times, and has argued in the Hawaii Supreme Court, Federal District Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco. He is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and the Family Law Section.
His area of concentration is in family law. He routinely handles cases involving divorce, child custody, visitation, child support, paternity, adoption, guardianship and restraining orders.
Cost
In an uncontested case in divorce, paternity, or adoption, you will be charged a flat fee. A flat fee means that you will know exactly what you will need to pay.
If your case is contested, usually meaning the other party does not agree to the terms then you will be charged an hourly rate. The total cost will be depend on the time needed to put into your case.
